If reports coming from the English press is anything to go by, then Arsenal fans might have seen the last of Theo Walcott in their team. Walcott had a season to forget last season and has been the subject of intense speculation ever since. Although Wenger reportedly have told him he still has a future at Arsenal, the reports linking him away from Arsenal have still not gone away.
New reports are claiming the former Southampton star could be on his way to West Ham as the hammers are ready to make an offer of £25 million for his services which Arsenal are likely to accept. The fact that the news is been reported by both London Evening Standard and the Telegraph means there is probably some element of truth in the reports.
Standard claims the same agent managing Jamie Vardy’s affair is the one managing Theo Walcott hence the two transfers are sort of linked especially as Leicester City have also been linked with the signing of Walcott.
Personally, I think we should just let Walcott go and bring in Mkhitaryan as his replacement. I would however rather we sell him to Leicester City to ensure the Jamie Vardy deal goes through rather than selling him to West Ham.
