YES: Player To Be Unveiled Before Weekend, Wenger Confirms Deal Is Done For Coveted Attacker

Knowing that his acquisition will make Arsenal more competitive and front runners for the Premier League title, Riyad Mahrez has is the most-linked player to Arsenal in this transfer window but he is yet to complete a deal.

Athough, the manager of Leicester City Claudio Raniery has dismissed the possibility of the Algerian bloke joining Arsenal,  the recent reports in the media waves have nullified what Raniery is saying.

This much was confirmed by beIN Sport journalist Ben Jacobs who claimed to have  interviewed Wenger and also said he was seated by his side as they both saw Leicester City’s pre-season game.

@jacobsben, Arsene Wenger on whether he wants @Mahrez22. He watched the game and left once Mahrez went off. Telling . #AFC#LFC

And this morning, reports claim Mahrez isn’t interested in Leicester City’s contract offer, are things now falling in place then? From all indication, this news will pick up today and will likely continue unless Mahrez signs his a new contract. The fact that Arsenal have been reported to have had an interest in Mahrez since last January is quite telling.

The  partnership of Mahrez, Lacazette and Sanchez as the front three for Arsenal will see the club return back to glory days.
