GARY NEVILLE believes Arsenal could sort out their midfield by signing Manchester City star Yaya Toure this summer.
The former Manchester United defender has suggested signing him on a short-term deal, as he feels it would be a massive help to the Gunners.
Toure leaves the Premier League champions this summer after eight seasons at the Etihad.
Arsenal’s main priority at the moment is finding a replacement for Arsene Wenger but the club has often been criticised over their lack of mettle on the pitch.
And Neville believes the north London side should take advantage of the 35-year-old’s availability.
“We were talking about Arsenal, about having that strength in midfield, the character and the leadership,” he told Sky Sports.
“To be fair they could do worse than maybe have him [Toure] for a season to sort out the culture in there.
“You’d have to play him in midfield; you couldn’t play him at the back.
“You’d have to play him in midfield and get people around him with legs.
