Why Arsenal Will Probably Have Their Best Squad For A Long Time Next Season

Oh no, mo more bumper pay

The good news for Arsenal fans at the moment amongst all of the incredibly frustrating rumours is that it seems like we are finally getting rid of some of our deadwood, with no less than 15 players being released come the 1st of July. The most notable mentions being Arshavin, Denilson and Squillaci, which frees up roughly £160 thousand a week to spend elsewhere. All of these players being released also shows that Arsenal are being ruthless and it seems that Arsenal have learned from previous mistakes regarding deadwood with these youngsters, as the board don’t want any players who won’t be near the first team and don’t want another situation similar to Denilson’s.

Furthermore it seems as though we may be getting rid of the ‘best striker in the world’ as Nicklas Bendtner stated this yesterday: “I am talking with 5 or 6 clubs over a permanent transfer, things are agreed with Arsenal and I will design which club I sign for in the next two weeks.” This is great news for Arsenal as not only will Bendtner never play in our colours again, but we will be able to receive some cash for the deal and Bendtner’s wages will be able to be used for a player who can actually play football. In addition to this, yesterday Gervinho has been linked with a £12 million deal to Galatasaray, who seem to love taking our flops.

If we could replace these players with quality squad players, not top, top players but ones who could ably provide completion to the first choice players, but also players who could mount a charge for the first team and with form play in our first team we would be much better for it. We need players who could provide depth to our team, so that when an injury arises we don’t panic and aren’t forced to play someone out of position or who is terrible, Andre Santos a perfect example of someone who isn’t good enough. These players don’t have to be expensive but good additions to our squad Rami, Tello spring to mind when talking of these players.

So if we sign a couple of players like this plus a couple of top players we will have a very good squad and potentially one of our best in the last few years.

  1. Why people keep saying it was a mistake depending on youngsters is beyond me.
That was all AFC could have done in the past seasons, as they were trying to
lose the debt and they have. They obviously did not have money for players and
debt at the same time. Now the debt is mostly gone we can start buying players again.
What we achieved with youngsters kept the club in CL(more money) and amongst the
top clubs, now another phase of the plan to restore AFC to the top is starting.

    1. How u can say, New phase is started. It is not started yet. All rumor are started like previous years. And offers from Arsenal to cheat fans.

Good caption. Only if Arsenal buy some good players. Still we can not make sure Arsenal is in market to buy GOOD players. Because these kind of rumors we are hearing now was there for last couple of years.

Don’t trust wenger and Arsenal board in spending. Because they cheated fans several times by giving all bull shit offers. We hope this year will be different and buy some good players other than spending less money for below average players.

    1. He’ll make you eat your words. Diaby wil succeed… rosicky did…. RVP did… so will he.
