Alex Iwobi in the Super Eagles training today picked up from where he left off in Arsenal’s Premier League match against Fulham, allnigeriasoccer.com is reporting.
His skill, sleek passing and constant movement into free space received huge cheers from the crowd at the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium who came to watch.
He also scored one of the standout goals of the evening, with a sweet lob over the goalkeeper’s shoulder and at this point, the whole crowd went wild with cheers.
Iwobi brought his A-game and was also instrumental to Odion Ighalo scoring goal after goal in the practice game.
Moreover, from the tactical session with a forward line comprising of Iwobi, Ighalo, Musa and Kalu carried out by manager Gernot Rohr, it seems like the Hale End Academy product might walk straight into the starting line-up in Saturday’s game against the Mediterranean Knights.
At the end of the training session, fans thronged to take selfies with him.
