If you people daily star’s report this morning then Arsenal will in the next 2 days try to sign Dutchman Wesley Sneijder from Galatasaray. Sneijder only recently joined Galatasaray for a deal believed to be worth a little over 8 million pounds but he is now available for as little as 6 million pounds.
Manchester United are also interested in the player but Arsenal are moving fast to enjoy they sign the player before Manchester United make their own move. Wesley Sneijder was recently dropped by Holland’s manager Louis Van Gaal due to the player’s lack of match fitness. Louis Van Gaal has reportedly advised the player to consider moving to Chelsea if Chelsea wants him.
Wenger has always been a long term admirer of the player and did make a move for him before he joined Galatasaray but was put off by the player’s wage demands. Daily star are not reporting the player is now willing to lower his wage demands in order to play first team football as Louis Van Gaal has made it clear only regular first team players will be on the plane to Brazil.
