Walcott Says This Signing Has Brought The Biggest Change To Arsenal

The immediate summer transfer window turned very successful as Arsene Wenger bolstered every aspect of Arsenal’s team.

Among the signings that aided Arsenal this term is Shkodran Mustafi and Theo Walcott has praised the impact of the signing since joining from Valencia in the summer.

Mustafi joined the Gunners for £35 million in the summer and since his arrival, no game in which he featured has been lost.

Mustafi is yet to taste defeat in an Arsenal shirt and his absence has seen Arsenal last the two Premier League games.

Arsenal have received public criticism for lacking physical strength in the past but Walcott feels the defender has brought that back.

“There is just something different about us this season — a different steel about us,” he said.

“We have got Shkodran Mustafi injured at the moment but Gabriel can come in, who is a very similar player, aggressive.

“Everyone is gelling well.

“There is a good bond in that dressing room right now — the best I’ve seen.”

Mustafi is currently out as a result of a hamstring injury which he sustained against Stoke City and wouldn’t be back till next year.
