Arsenal have found themselves in a dire situation with the emergence of reports that Alexis Sanchez could be on his way to the Alianz Arena.
Former Arsenal star Thierry Henry believes that Alexis Sanchez could join Arturo Vidal at Bayern Munich soon, this is according to reports.
Sanchez, like Mesut Ozil, is tied into a contract at Arsenal until the summer of 2018 but the north London club are working to get the superstar duo on new deals at the Emirates.
The 28-year-old Chilean attacker has been linked with the likes of Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and even Chelsea in recent times as his contract negotiations drag on.
When asked if he thinks Sanchez will sign a new deal at Arsenal, Henry told Sky Sports: ‘I want him to sign, everybody wants him to sign.
‘That’s a tricky one for the club. That’s why you have guys there to be able to deal with that.
‘But, as an Arsenal fan, I want Alexis Sanchez to stay for life because he is the future of the club. Same with Mesut Ozil.’
However, Henry admits that if Sanchez ever leaves Arsenal, then he could see him joining forces with his compatriot Vidal at the Allianz Arena.
‘If he ever leaves then you would think the likes of Bayern are going to come, Paris Saint-Germain,’ Henry added.
‘Maybe joining his friend Vidal at Bayern Munich so we’ll see. But stay… don’t listen to anyone, find a way, stay!
