Arsenal have been handed a massive boost in their quest to land the Premier League player of the season. This follows from the report that the Foxes are on the verge of completing a £5.25m deal for skillful Poland born midfielder Bartosz Kaputska.
Arsenal have been looking to secure a deal for Riyad Mahrez but Claudio Raniery is wary of letting the player off his radar. Leicester sold kante to Chelsea and to lose another core player of his winning team will be dangerous to their title-defence campaign.
However, the signing of Kapustska has means the Foxes have signed a replacement for the Arsenal bound PFA player of the season.
Yesterday, Kaputska revealed on social media that he was on his way to England with a message indicating that a deal was already in the offing for him. This means, he will be used as a long term replacement for Mahrez.
But concerns that he may not get the chance to play with Mahrez are growing after Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was spotted in the crowd at the StubHub Center on Saturday to watch Leicester’s 4-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.
