If a report by popular blogging website Squawka, who themselves are citing Guardian, is anything to go by, then Jamie Vaerdy has already agreed personal terms with Arsenal and is only waiting for the perfect time to announce he will be leaving Leicester City for Arsenal.
On Friday the Guardian broke the news that Arsenal have triggered Jamie vardy’s release clause. However, Leicester reportedly moved quickly to make the player a counter offer which has now put him in a state of confusion.
According to the report by Squawka, Arsenal have offered Vardy a four years deal and will be paying Jamie Vardy 100,000 a week which is worth $30.2 million for the four years of the contract.
Vardy scored 24 hoals last season as he helped Leicester City to the Premier League title ahead of Arsenal who finished second, 10 points behind. Vardy was expected to announce yesterday whether he has accepted Arsenal’s offer or he will accept Leicester’s counter offer and remain at the liberty stadium.
