With latest reports making the rounds in the media wave, it seems a deal for a striker will completed for Arsenal before the Premier League season commences.
From the inception of the summer, we saw several attackers linked with a move to Arsenal. Riyad Mahrez and Aleksandre Lacazette are still in the media wave for Arsenal. Nonetheless, Mauro Icardi seems to have taken over with recent reports claiming the striker’s agent will fly into London in a bid to completing a deal for the player.
The latest comes from Calciomercato, who said on Thursday that Arsenal are still lingering in the background and considering a deal for the player. Napoli are of course linked too, as they look to sign a replacement for Gonzalo Higuain.
Icardi’s wife doubles as his agent and she is expected to broker a deal for her husband before the end of the week. he report suggests that Wanda Nara has flown to England that a move for the hotshot forward to move to North London remains alive despite Inter’s insistence that they will not sell Icardi.
Arsenal have been looking for experienced reinforcement in attack and Icardi wouldn’t be a bad idea. He netted 16 goals in 30 games in all competition for the San Siro outfit last term and would provide a good option to Grioud.
