According to reports coming out of Germany, Arsenal have made a mouth-watering bid to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Reports from German media outlet Bild say that Arsenal is one of the several clubs to have made a lucrative offer for the creative winger / attacking midfielder from Borussia Dortmund.
Mkhitaryan has only just 12 months left on his current contract with the Bundesliga side and negotiations over a new deal have stalled. The 27-year old who predominantly plays from the right wing and is also capable of playing from the left or as a central midfielder scored 11 goals and assisted 15 more goals last season.
He is also a very strong dribbler that drives hard into the heart of opposing defences and with a handful of Europran experience. Should he choose to make the move to Arsenal, this experience will help him a lot to integrate faster into the team.
Mkhitaryan’s agent, Mino Raiola, is now talking up a move away from Germany with Dortmund looking like they will turn down the player’s demands to insert a release clause that would become active once coach Thomas Tuchel
