Picture PROOF+ Done Deal: Riyad Mahrez Spotted In Arsenal Jersey As Player Confirms Emirates Move
Earlier this morning, we reported that Riyad Mahrez was spotted at Chelsea’s official London hotel, and it was believed that he would sign a deal with the Stamford Bridge outfit. There seem to be a twist in the player’s transfer with emerging reports claiming the player wants to force a move to Arsenal.
According to @Ilyesramdani1 on Twitter, Mahrez has told all parties, including Leicester, that he wants to join Arsenal.
Mahrez doesn’t want to go public about his wish to move to the Emirates Stadium, while he’s also expected to stop short of forcing his move through.
Mahre has been a transfer subject for Arsenal but there is no proof that Wenger is genuinely interested in landing the midfield skimmer. Wenger had admitted that he is in the search of a top attacker and Mahrez fits his wants perfectly.
However, the owner of Leicester City Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha has urged the player the stay put at the Kingpower Stadium.
Riyad Mahrez has told all parties, Leicester City included, that he wants to join Arsenal, according to Eurosport FR's @Ilyesramdani1.

Mahrez however refuses to make his desire to leave public & will not force Leicester's hand. Like Arsenal's Lacazette situation: stalemate.
