MESUT OZIL captained Arsenal against Burnley today – and the player was instrumental in the Gunners’ opening goal.
But did you see his great celebration to the goal this afternoon?
Ozil has run hot and cold under Arsenal manager Unai Emery this season.
So poor has his form been at times that Emery has dropped the player from his first XI.
Ozil did not take part in the 2-0 EFL Cup defeat to Tottenham on Wednesday.
But he was back captaining the team today against Burnley and was instrumental in the first goal.
Ozil picked the ball up on the right edge of the area and swung in a cross for Sead Kolasinac, who cut back to Aubameyang for the strike.
And Ozil was immediately over to celebrate with his team-mates, dampening suggestions he is unhappy with his lot at Arsenal right now.
Ozil immediately hugged Kolasinac, seeming to praise the defender for his diligence getting forward and reaching the initial cross into the box.
