Personal Terms AGREED, Work Permit Sorted, Arsenal To Complete 3rd Signing

Once again Arsenal is been consistently link with every available striking option in the market and this time we are linked with Inter Milan skipper Mauro Icardi. Wanda Nara who doubles as Icardi’s wife and agent has claimed that Arsenal and Tottenham have contacted Inter over a possible transfer to the Emirates. This is amidst report from Italy claiming Arsenal have agreed personal terms with the player. And that the club is sure work permit won’t be an issue as he is South American and will require a work permit to play in England.

Wenger is keen to add a striker to his Arsenal ranks as latest reports in the media indicates that Chuba Akpom who is yet to make a league start for the Gunners will be the only fit striker for the North London side come the start of the season. With Arsenal’s backup striker Danny Welbeck out with a long-term injury. Wenger believes the Serie A striker as a possible solution to his attacking crisis.

Arsenal are in pole position to land the want-away striker considering Tottenham recently completed the signing of Vincent Janssen. Icardi who is keen to stay with the Italian giants signed a contract extension last summer without a pay raise and Champions league football is a fan favourite.

Wenger is known to play his transfer cards close to his chest and in recent season has snapped his targets before the media breaks the news. So it is looking most unlikely that any of the players heavily linked to a move to the Emirates will be joining Arsenal anytime soon. But Icardi’s situation might be different as Wenger has actually made contact with Inter.
