That’s according to reports in Italy who claim the 24-year-old’s £22m move to Old Trafford is nearly a done deal.
United have today confirmed their £40m raid on Chelsea for defensive midfielder Nemanja Matic.
Matic has become the Red Devils’ third signing of the summer following the mega-money swoops of Romelu Lukaku and Victor Lindelof.
Jose Mourinho has made no secret that he wants further reinforcements before the new season gets underway.
And it seems United are set to complete their fourth transfer of the window.
Transfermarketweb claim sources from both France and the UK have told them that Aurier is ‘getting closer and closer’ to completing his move to the Premier League.
They add that both Arsenal and Chelsea are still tracking the 39-time capped Ivory Coast right-back.
But United remain the clear favourites to snap him up.
Aurier joined PSG permanently in 2015 for £8.5m following a successful season-long loan stint from Toulouse.
He has played 81 games for the French giants in all competitions, scoring five times and providing 15 assists.
Should Aurier join United, he will compete for the right-back spot in Mourinho’s first-team with Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian.
