Personal Terms AGREED, £20m Arsenal Target Set To Sign 5-Years Deal

Despite been stocked in midfield, Arsenal continue to get linked with the signing of various midfielders. This is so as there are rumours that Aaron Ramsey could be leaving the club this summer with clubs such as PSG, Manchester City and Manchester United said to be interested in signing him.
However, one of the Gunners’ key targets is said to be on his way to signing for one of our rivals. Newcastle and France midfielder Moussa Sissoko, who is currently with the French national side in the on-going Euros tournament, is set to accept a deal with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. Sissoko is unlikely to stay at St James Park next season following Newcastle’s relegation from the Premier League to the Championship. Some reports claim the player has agreed personal terms with Liverpool ahead of a move to Anfield.
But Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez recently said he would like to retain the services of Sissoko and fellow in-demand midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum at the club, though he acknowledged that their ambitions are higher than the Championship. Admitting that going from the Premier League to the Championship is not easy for anyone.
Arsenal and other top European clubs like Dortmund and Liverpool have been recently linked with capturing the signature of the 26 year old Newcastle midfilder, but he will prefer a switch to Liverpool. This will be a big blow to the Arsenal supporters, who believed their club was leading in the race to sign Sissoko.
With Newcastle keen on keeping key players in the side to aid with their return to the Premier league, the club has valued Sissoko at over £20million. Newcastle seems to be under no pressure to sell this summer and certainly don’t have to offload players before bringing in new faces. Sissoko is unlikely to remain on Tyneside for much longer beyond the conclusion of Euro 2016, but will Anfield be his next destination or will Arsenal come in and hijack the move from the Reds?
