Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud as stated that the presence of Arsenal’s new record signing Mesut Ozil can only make his goal scoring task easier for him. Mesut Ozil was signed by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger on the very last day of the transfer window in a deal said to be worth as much as 42.5 million pounds. He had his debut for the team when they took on Sunderland last weekend and he was impressive getting involved in the teams 3 goals in a 3-1 win away from home.
“Everything is easier with this player,” Giroud told Arsenal Player.
“He always plays in the right way, nothing else.
“He has a fantastic, lovely first touch so it is really easy to find each other, especially for the third goal. “We were really happy to win after a good first half. We missed a lot of chances to score and should have had two or three goals more. Their keeper did well.
“I feel really good on the pitch in my relationships, especially with our new player, Mesut. There are a lot of good feelings.”
If Adebayor could score 30 goals in a season with Cesc, Hleb and Flamini in the midfield supplying him passes, Giroud who is a better player should also score 30 goals if not more with Ozil, Cazorla, Wilshere, Jack and Ramsey supplying him.
