PREMIER LEAGUE clubs will have to part with £88m in order to sign highly-rated defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

Napoli’s central defender is a target for several Premier League clubs including Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea.

The Blues are in the market for a centre-back as David Luiz could leave and Gary Cahill turns 33 in December.

Arsenal are in a similarly perilous position defensively, with Laurent Koscielny until the end of the year after rupturing his Achilles earlier this month.

Senegal international Koulibaly is aerially powerful and should adapt to the Premier League with relative ease if he made the move.

But his Serie A club – who finished second behind Juventus in Serie A this season – have issued a hands-off warning to the English sides.

The Mirror report that, according to the radio station Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, the club’s director of sport Cristiano Giuntoli will only consider a huge offer.

Should the club achieve their desire transfer fee, it would represent an gigantic profit on the £6.8m Napoli shelled out to bring him in from Genk four years ago.

Koulibaly bagged five goals in Serie A this season, a solid return for a central defender.

His agent Bruno Satin said of his future: “It’s too early to talk about the future.
