Arsenal are ready to make a bid to sign Corentin Tolisso from Lyon, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that Arsene Wenger is planning a “major overhaul” of his squad this summer and that the Gunners boss is a “long-term admirer” of the 22-year-old midfielder.
The same report states that Arsenal are aiming to bolster their defensive, midfield and attacking options in the summer transfer window.
The story also claims that Arsenal are keeping tabs on Malaga midfielder Pablo Fornals ahead of a possible summer bid.
Lyon are likely to want a transfer fee of at least £30m for Tolisso this summer, according to the report.
Tolisso has been a regular fixture in the Lyon team this season, scoring eight goals and making four assists in 30 Ligue 1 games.
There continues to be uncertainty about Wenger’s future at Arsenal, with the Frenchman yet to confirm whether he will be in charge next season, despite his contract expiring in the summer.
