Monaco winger Thomas Lemar would be interested in a move to Arsenal, according to reports in France.
L’Equipe claim that Arsene Wenger’s side have entered the race with Tottenham for the 21-year-old, while Juventus are also exploring the possibility of a deal this summer.
But despite Arsenal’s lack of Champions League football next season, Lemar is willing to make the move as there is a possibility that it could improve the Gunners’ chances of challenging for the Premier League title.
Lemar is also attracted to Arsenal as several French players have flourished at the club under Wenger.
Lemar, who primarily plays on the left flank, was a key part of Monaco’s title-winning campaign this season with nine goals and 10 assists in 34 Ligue 1 appearances.
Last month, L’Equipe claimed that Monaco would be ready to accept a €30 million (£26 million) bid for the France international.
Elsewhere, Arsenal’s shock £87 million bid for Kylian Mbappe, which was revealed on Thursday evening, has been rejected by Monaco.
