It’s been revealed that Leicester City midfielder and Algerian ace Riyad Mahrez has nothing less than five solid offers on the table to depart Leicester City this summer.
According to Foot Mercato, three Premier League clubs are in contact with Mahrez’s representatives, along with twoother clubs from Spain.
Premier league giants Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal are all keen on signing the Algerian and keeping him in the English Premier League next season. Spanish giants Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are all hoping to tempt him to Spain.
Last month, Mahrez’s agent, Kamel Bengougam, said: “He still has three-year contract. There’s contact, both in England and outside of England.
“He can stay, or if a big club makes an offer and offers a good project, he could leave.”
According to the Mirror, it is believed that Riyad Mahrez will resist offers from some top European clubs this summer and aims to line up for the foxes next season, as the team bids to embark on a Champions League adventure and defend its English Premier League title.
The African man has been linked with a move away after a superlative season of form earned him the PFA Player of the Year award. Keeping the 25-year-old Mahrez would be a massive boost for Claudio Ranieri after the midfielder contributed 17 goals and 11 assists in Leicester’s title win.
