Arsenal have been handed a massive blow in their pursuit of Spain born playmaker Francisco Román Alarcón Suárez, commonly known as Isco, – this follows from his father’s and agent’s submission that the player will stay put and Santiago Bernabeu.
Following the cluster of skillful players at Real Madrid, Rumours emerged last week that the player will be put up for sale by Madrid with Arsenal and AC Milan reported as being keenly interested. AS even claimed Los Blancos will accept £37million for the Spain international.
Isco agent has now dismissed the possibility of the player joining Arsenal as he wants to remain with the Spanish giants.’
“So many rumours have come out in the last few weeks, but we’re not interested,” Isco’s father and agent Paco Alarcon told Italian website tuttomercatoweb.
“At the moment we won’t consider any offers, whether that’s from Milan or any other club.
“Isco wants to continue his adventure with Real Madrid, and hopes to renew his contract which expires in 2018.”
Although, if you consider the number of midfielders in Arsenal, you’ll realize there’s no need for him this season. But Cazorla is getting old and Isco would be an ideal replacement for him.
