Arsenal striker Lucas Perez has been a subject of transfer following his lack of playing time at Arsenal.
LUCAS PEREZ says he is hopeful of playing more regularly for Arsenal amid claims he wants to leave the Emirates.
Perez’s agent Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle was quoted by Italian website Calciomercato as saying the Spanish striker was desperate to leave the Gunners.
But Lovelle later pulled a dramatic U-turn and insisted the 28-year-old wants to stay.
Perez did then his talking on the pitch with a goal against Sutton United in the FA Cup last night.
And speaking to Spanish radio station Cadena Cope, Perez admits he needs to be patient and make the most of his chances to impress.
“I’m happy to have scored and I need to continue playing like this so that the coach gives me more minutes,” he said.
“I just have to be patient and take advantage of the opportunities.”
