In what could be a hint that all the rumours linking Alvaro Morata to Arsenal are true, Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has spoken saying he has been talking to the player and has advised him to stay at the Turin rather than leave.
“Morata? If I were him, I’d remain at Juventus,” Allegri told Rai.
“Right now he’s on international duty and I hope he comes back to Turin afterwards.”
It is has been reported that Morata could leave Juventus this summer as Real Madrid intend to activate the £23million buy-back clause in his contract and then have him resold to whoever bids the highest. Although Juventus themselves are able to pay Real Madrid more money to remove the clause, it appears they are not able to cough out the amount of money Real Madrid are demanding for the removal of the clause.
Arsenal were said to have bid as much as £38 million for the player and according to various reports in both the Brtish and the Spaniard press, Arsenal are the likeliest for the signature of the Spaniard.
