Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis is wanted at AC Milan.
Gazidis, 53, has been in charge at Arsenal since 2009 and this summer oversaw their first managerial change in 22 years.
In his nine years at the helm of Arsenal the club have grown into one of the richest in the world – although the Premier League trophy has eluded them.
And his work in north London appears to have caught the attention of bosses in Italy.
According to newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Gazidis is the top candidate to take charge of AC Milan this summer.
Milan are in a state of turbulence following the takeover of the club by investors Elliott Management.
The American firm took full charge of the San Siro giants after Milan’s Chinese owners failed to repay a debt of £28m (€32m).
