If Arsenal signed every player they’ve been linked to over the last few seasons their squad would exceed the population of the Iceland and could have even won the Premier league and Uefa champions league back to back.
One such player’s linked to Arsenal that the club should consider signing is German international Julian Draxler, who ply’s his trade for Wolfsburg.
The 22-year-old who can suit Arsene Wengers style of play considering his pace and skills is currently on international duty with Germany at Euro 2016 where he has performed exceptionally well on the left flank and his performances have impressed the Arsenal boss.
His incredible skills and talent has seen him attract lot of suitors across Europe, including the Gunners who in my opinion should sign the player to strengthen the current squad for the challenges ahead next season.
Draxler’s greatest assest (one of many) is his versatility; the young talent has great feet, capable of dribbling past opponents and an impeccable first touch to bring the ball under his control. He can
play on both wings, in the central attacking midfield role, and as a striker. All indications also show that he is very much available for transfer.
Even the Arsenal manager, knowing his great attributes, praised the player recently and said he will continue to monitor his progress. He stated he would be “interested” to see how the youngster performs at the on-going European championship in France.
Considering Wenger’s comments, it shows that Arsenal are still interested in the young player they were heavily linked with three years ago. Signing him will be a step closer to the title for the gunners.
