Arsene Wenger seems to have turned a new leaf as he desires to wrap up signings long before summer transfer window opens even as he plans to strengthen his squad.
Few weeks ago, Arsenal wrapped up the deal to sign the Swiss professional footballer and Borussia M.Gladbach former Midfielder Granit Xhaka and are now set to add the name of Jamie Vardy to the list of done deals at the Emirates as his releases clause was activated last week by the North London Club.
The gunners have according to Squawka agreed on personal terms with Vardy with his wage fixed at £100,000 pounds a week and his representatives want the deal to be done in earnest. However, the England born striker is still on the fence as regards his move and his indecision is being fuelled by a new improved offer by Leicester.
Vardy who was the second highest goal scorer in the Premier League for the 2015-16 season with 24 league goals, one goal behind Golden Boot winner Harry Kane has been urged by the Olympic Champion Mo Farah to join Arsenal according to London Evening Standard.
Furthermore, the gunners remain at the edge of their seats, waiting and hoping the deal gets done as soon as possible.
