Arsenal are set to welcome back into their team this winger one of the club’s most effective players. Arsenal who are currently top of the premier league log are without several key players with concerns starting to grow over the depth of the team. Currently out injured are the likes of Theo Walcott, Lukas Podolski, Chamberlain, Abou Diaby, Mathiue Flamini and the duo of Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs who both got injured over the weekend.
The good news however is that some of the injured players are now set to make a return back to the team. First among the returnees is Theo Walcott who is expected to be fit in time for when Arsenal lock horns with Manchester United this weekend.
Mirror journalist John Cross wrote in his column on daily mirror :
“The England winger has stepped up his training after abdominal surgery and while the Gunners’ Wednesday trip to Borussia Dortmund may well come too soon for him, there is a chance for a return at Old Trafford.”
On other injury news, Wenger said :
“He is a short-term injury, he could be available for Manchester United. He is out for Liverpool and Dortmund.”
Chamberlain is however not expected back until the middle of December.
Lukas Podolski is however back to training but not match fit and won’t get to see action until the end of November according to various reports.
