Arsenal manager, Arsène Wenger has revealed that the hunger and desire to be successful after every game is still very much in him. The Arsenal boss was speaking in the club’s twitter takeover session earlier in the week.
This came after Sunday’s narrow 1-0 defeat to Manchester United in the EPL but Wenger was quick to reassure fans about his burning desire to win every single game.
“Certainly, I have a few more wrinkles now but what has stayed the same is the huge desire to win every single game,” the 64 year old said.
Wenger also claimed that the learning curve never ends in football management.
“Every season you make wrong decisions. You have to go with your gut feeling sometimes, but you learn and analyse,” he added.
The Arsenal boss also touched on issues such as the famous “hair-dryer treatment” and the best position of England International, Jack Wilshere.
On the hair-dryer treatment..
“It can only be an exceptional behaviour and every manager uses it,” he said.
On Jack Wilshere’s best position..
His best position is as a deep-lying midfielder, where he can be a distributor. He has a good burst and vision.
