Arsenal and Manchester City target Nicolas Pepe has ruled out any chance of a move to the Premier League happening in January.
The Lille winger has explained that he will see out of the season with the Ligue 1 side but refused to rule out a summer move.
Speaking to Le Voix du Nord, as cited on the Daily Star, Pepe addressed claims about his future.
Finish the season at Lille … Yes, that’s true. As the president has already said, my desire is to finish the season at Lille, and then we’ll see. I have a contract until 2022. My idea is to finish this season with Lille. And, why not, start the next in Europe … it would be beautiful.
A host of clubs are being linked with a move to sign Pepe as he continues to shine in Ligue 1, but Lille are desperate to keep hold of the player.
Arsenal, City, Bayern and Chelsea have all previously been credited with an interest in the Ivorian.
Lille are refusing to sell in the new year, with the winger crucial in their hopes of securing Champions League football for next season.
The 23-year-old has scored 12 league goals in 19 starts this season.
