Colombia international Duvan Zapata dropped an Arsenal transfer hint by revealing his love for the north London club.

The Napoli forward, currently on loan at Atalanta, hasn’t been formally linked with a move to the Gunners, but admitted he could one day play in the Premier League.

Zapata has made 20 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A club this season, and has netted a staggering 10 in his past seven games.

In an interview with Il Corriere della Sera, Zapata revealed: “I used to support one team for each league. I liked Inter colours but I was in love with Thierry Henry’s Arsenal.

“In Colombia we love Premier League. Who knows. One day I could play there.”

Arsenal’s biggest problem this transfer window has been a lack of funds readily available for Unai Emery to utilise.
