ARSENE WENGER has revealed Arsenal will specifically look to stifle Tottenham star Harry Kane on Saturday
The England international has bagged 13 times in 14 games in all competitions for Spurs this season.
And this weekend he’ll be looking to add to him impressive record of 20 goals in 24 London derby appearances.
Six of those strikes have come in Kane’s last six games against Tottenham’s arch-rivals, Arsenal.
And Wenger says the Gunners will be targeting the 24-year-old in particular when Saturday’s Emirates showdown kicks off.
“To keep him quiet, yes,” said Wenger, when asked if Arsenal have a plan for Kane.
Wenger insists Arsenal aren’t scared of Kane, despite his hot streak against them, though.
“We have no fear. We are focused on nullifying their strong points,” he added.
Wenger’s decision to focus on Kane came as he denied he has doubts over his own hitman, Alexandre Lacazette.
The French forward joined Arsenal from Lyon over the summer in a club-record deal worth up to £52.6m.
He’s since bagged six goals in 11 Premier League appearances but was left out of the starting line-up to face Manchester City two weeks ago.
