Great News – Alexis Sanchez Reveals He’ll Play Against United

Alexis Sanchez withdrew  from Chile’s training yesterday after picking a mild calf-injury.

However, the player has revealed that he’ll be in back in action today as his injury is not really serious.

Sanchez is understood to have suffered a low-grade muscle tear, which will have been a worry for Arsene Wenger, but it appears the 27-year-old will return to action next week.

Chile face Uruguay in their World Cup qualifier on Tuesday and the Gunners star is confident of being fit for the fixture.

‘It is hurting a bit but I’m fine. I’ll be back for Tuesday,’ Sanchez told his circle, according to El Mercurio.

Wenger’s side host Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain after the international break and, much to the relief of Arsenal supporters, Sanchez should be ready to feature.

A source close to Chile’s camp told El Mercurio:

‘The ultrasound was performed immediately.

‘The doctors commented that with these injuries you must wait 24 hours to determine the recovery time, because the tear evolves.

‘Luckily, they tell us that it’s superficial and he could recover quickly.’
