The hurdle holding Belgian International, Lukaku from joining the Gunners is believed to be the fee placed on him which gives off an impression of being too high for Arsenal to pay.
Romelu Lukaku wants to move to Arsenal – but the £50million price tag makes him too expensive, according to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli.
The Belgium and Everton front man is supposedly quick to leave Goodison Park this summer but the Toffees bosses are not eager to let the player go for a cheap as they slammed his ti £50m price tag.
Contact was reportedly made between the two clubs yet Giulianelli says that he has his doubts over the deal’s progression.
He composed on Twitter:
“Arsenal aren’t too optimistic after hearing they’d have to pay £50m for Lukaku to Everton.
“Informal contact was made yesterday between Arsenal and Everton but in my opinion the deal won’t progress despite Lukaku wanting the move.”
Lukaku scored 23 goals for the Toffess last season, but is believed to be in search for greener pastures [Champions League football].
