If reports in the Armenian media is anything to go, then Dortmund and Armenia international midfielder/Attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan is on his way to Arsenal or Chelsea this summer. This is as according to reports from the player’s home country, Mkhitaryan is already house hunting in London.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have been linked with the signing of the Bundesliga player of the year and with he reportedly house hunting in London, it is safe to assume the player has put his mind on a move to either Chelsea or Arsenal.
However, in reality, it seems Arsenal is more likely to be his next club. The player himself has confirmed on many occassions that he will like to play for Arsenal and under Arsene Wenger and with reports last week claiming Arsenal negotiator Dick Law has flown to Germany to hold discussion with Dortmund in regards to the signing of the player. Also with Willian, Oscar and Hazard at Chelsea, Mkhitaryan knows he has a better chance of regular first team football at Arsenal than at Chelsea as with the Gunners, he will have only Alex Iwobi and Theo Walcott to fight a place in the first team with.
Dortmund are said to be ready to accept 23 million for the player which shouldn’t be a problem for Arsenal despite Wenger’s well know tendency to be prudent in the transfer market.
