Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed the situation of his Arsenal squad to the press during his normal pre game press conference. There are some good and bad news for the gunners and their fans on the injury front.
The good news is that French defensive midfielder Mathieu Flamini will be back to the team earlier than initially expected. Flamini was expected to be back for the Olympic Marseille game which comes in 3 weeks time but according to Wenger, the French man is very likely to be back for when Arsenal take on champions Manchester United on the 10th of November.
Flamini’s return’s return is however the only good news Arsene Wenger has for the fans. Although Lukas Podolski and Theo Walcott are said to be back to training with the first team, the French man was silent on their situation.
On the bad news front, German under 21 player, Serge Gnabry is out injured. Gnabry sustained an ankle injury during the game against Crystal Palace and won’t be available for selection this weekend when Arsenal take on Liverpool.
