Finally, Club Chief Gives Official Statement On Rosicky’s Purposed Replacement – Not Xhaka

Unlike Arsene wenger, he signed Granit Xhaka before the commencement of the European Championship and it was thought that he would complete other deals on time in other that the new signings bed properly into the team – that has not being the case.

However, Arsenal have been linked to signing Arda Turan who endured a torrid season at Barcelona. However, the La Liga Champions have rubbished the report, stating that they will not sign the player.

Turan, who was signed last summer from rivals Atletico Madrid, struggled to oust the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez from Luis Enrique’s starting XI last season.

Talking about Turan;s future, Barcelona Sporting Director Robert Fernandez has shed light on the future of Turan. He said:

“The situation with Arda Turan has not changed,” he told Spanish newspaper Marca.

“After a difficult year with all the FIFA trouble, we are hoping for the Arda of Atletico next season.

“We are convinced he will perform for us.”

The Acquisition of Xhaka for Arsenal means there is no need for another midfielder in the team as the position is already star studded.

Arsenal saw Flamini, Arteta and Rosicky left the club and it was believed that Turan will be the ideal replacement for Rosicky.
