The Gunners are supposedly looking at a move for Dutch winger, Quincy Promes. The 24-year old, who is valued around £11.6m, he had an extraordinary season for Spartak Moscow, scoring 18 goals in 30 games and has now said he needs to move to a more aggressive club. As indicated by Russian site, Izvestia, Spurs are also in the rase to get the signature of the Dutch man.
Looking at his age and details contrasted with Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, he’s not injury prone and he costs less than both of them on terms of wages, which explains why Wenger may be interested in him. Reports already claim both Theo Walcott and Chamberlain could be on their ways out of the club this summer.
Walcott has been linked with a move to Leicester City, Liverpool and West Ham and although Wenger has reportedly told his agent that the former Southampton star is part of his plans for next season, it will not be a surprise if Wenger ends up selling him should the right offer me made for his services.
And to be fair, a move will benefit both clubs. A loan move away from Arsenal could also help Chamberlain rediscover his form. I do not think the OX should be sold but for his confidence’s sake, he should be sent out on loan, for at least six months.
