Arsenal and Liverpool are both interested in a move for Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez, according to the Daily Mail.
The Spanish international winger whose versatility has become a major asset in his game is a subject of lots of interests, and won’t be short of admirers should he decide to leave the club.
Arsenal have shown interest in bringing him to the Emirates as they are desperate to add a pure winger after the departure of Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez from the club last season.
They hope to get back into the Champions league next season and have embarked on a squad revamping after the arrival of new manager Unai Emery.
Liverpool on their part are monitoring his situation alongside his teammate Marco Asensio who is highly rated at Madrid and in the Spanish national team.
They are looking to bolster their midfield and attack to enable them go one better than the Champions League final defeat of last season as well as challenge for the Premier League title this season.
The two Premier League sides also face competition from their rivals Chelsea and Serie A side AC Milan though the Italians are currently serving a one year transfer ban which will mean they are out of the running for the time being.
Vazquez made 48 appearances for Real Madrid last season, and was their most used player, scoring eight times and assisting a further 12 goals as they won their third consecutive Champions League title.
He would be increasing his salary by a large margin if he decides to leave the Spanish giants.
