Huddart’s move means that Matt Macey who is 22 and impressive sigh the U-21 team will automatically become the senior sides third choice goalkeeper for next season behind the likes of David Ospina of Chile and Petr Cech of Czech Republic.

Eastleigh were so close to promotion as they finished five points off promotion places last season in the National League. This has made the club to reinforce their ranks ahead of the new season.
The news also means that Arsenal third choice goal keeper last season Emiliano Martinez is likely to remain with Wolverhampton Wanderers for a another season on loan after his loan spell last season in the Championship ended in success. The goalkeeper is much more experienced than Marcey and Huddart.
