Hannover 96 President has confirmed that the club will loan Asano Takuma from Arsenal this summer after his loan spell at Stuttgart, according to the Daily Cannon.
The Japanese striker has had a terrible loan spell at Stuttgart this season after a promising first season at the club where he was a regular and performed well.
He made just 18 appearances this season, all coming in the first half of the season where he scored once and assisted once, he has not made a first team appearance in 2018, and has only made the match day squad four times since the turn of the year.
He was dropped to the second team where he scored a goal and assisted another in two appearances, but didn’t impress enough to earn a recall to the first team.
His poor performances at club level and his lack of international call ups these days now mean he cannot get a work permit and as a result will be loaned out for the third time.
Hannover president Martin Kind confirmed that they will loan him. “We will loan him for a year,” he said.
“The sporting hierarchy have positive judgements over him.”
