In the wake of the Premier League defeat to Liverpool at the Emirates and a goal draw against Leicester City at the KingPower Stadium, you’d expect Wenger and Arsenal to be motivated to spend on the attacking and defensive areas of the squad – however, the story has been less different.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for Real Madrid’s out-of-favor winger James Rodriguez but Spanish news outlet EFE have dropped some big transfer news on Thursday, suggesting that Real Madrid’s attacking midfielder James Rodriguez could be moving to Serie A.
The report claims, James Rodriguez lawyers will be travelling to Turin today in a bid to secure an accomodation for the Columbian international. Although, Juventus have not been mentioned to be interested in the player, but it appears they are looking for midfielders to fill the void left by the departure of Paul Pogba.
Since the appointment of Zinedine Zidane, James Rodriguez has fallen down the selection perking order of the French tactician – despite his experience, Isco gets more playing time and is favoured more.
Should he sign for another club, James will only be another target that snubbed Arsenal this summer.
The player is valued at £51m.
