With Granit Xhaka and Takuma Asano signed so far, Arsenal fans will like to see a striker, a centre back and a wing forward still signed before the transfer window on September three. However, Arsenal are working on not just incoming players but as well as outgoing ones. This is as reports claim Arsenal youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles who is highly rated at the club has agreed terms with Ipswich Town and will be joining them for the whole of next season.
Ainsley, 18, spent last season on loan with the Championship side. He started well with Town but suffered an injury and was unable to regain his place in the team again, things became worst when the player’s mother reportedly put a call through to Mick McCarthy the team’s manager and left an x-rated voicemail, complaining about the lack of playing time afforded his son.
However, the bridged that was broken between the player, his mother and Mick McCarthy is said to have been mended and he will now be hoping for a better time with Ipswich next season. Arsenal reportedly sees him as one for the future and have only sent him to gain experience.
