NICE president Jean-Pierre Rivere has confirmed some players will be leaving the club this summer.
The news could be a boost to Arsenal amid speculation that Jean-Michael Seri is a top transfer target.
Following Nice’s 1-1 Champions League qualifier against Ajax last night, Rivere told French newspaper L’Equipe: “There should be three or four more arrivals and two departures.
“We want to finish these as soon as possible but certain cases take more time than others.
“I think we will manage because these last ones should be finalised faster than those from last year.”
Football.london suggested earlier today that Arsene Wenger is keen to secure a double deal for Seri and Thomas Lemar.
Seri, 25, enjoyed an impressive season at the Ligue 1 side.
He made 34 top flight appearances for Nice, scoring seven goals and assisting nine to help his side claim an impressive third-place finish.
Roma were linked with the midfielder enforcer but are unlikely to meet his £36m release clause.
Football.london suggest Arsenal are similarly unlikely to pay top whack for the Ivorian although they remain firmly in the hunt for his services.
If they fail to land Seri, a raid for Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho could be one the cards instead.
Lemar has been heavily touted as another potential arrival at the Emirates.
Starsport understands a £45m bid is being tabled after Monaco snubbed two previous bids.
