Arsenal have had a relatively quiet winter transfer window but we are still two weeks away from the close of the market and so, surprises are still possible.
According to report, Arsenal have been a handed a major boost in the pursuit of Aubameyang after his club agreed that they would consider selling him for €70million.
The Gabon international, who scored the opening goal of the Africa Cup of Nations this week, has repeatedly been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid thought to be interested….
The 27-year-old’s good form has continued this season prior to his departure to the AFCON, scoring 20 goals in 22 appearances for Thomas Tuchel’s side who sit sixth in the league table.
Hans-Joachim Watzke, the club’s director, recently admitted that the club could be tempted to cash in on the striker if they were to receive the right offer.
Now, German publication Bild, claim that the sum of €70m – which equates to around £61m – would be enough to force the board to discuss the potential sale.
