Confirmed By Wenger – N’Golo Kante To Become A Gunner

Mirror is reporting that Arsenal boss Arsene Wender is interested in N’Golo Kante, and the Gunners boss has heaped praises on the French International.

The energetic Kante has just completed a superb English Premier leagues season with Leicester city that saw the foxes crowned champions of England.

Kante, 25, has been heavily linked with a move to north London in recent months, but the rumour seem to have died down since the Gunners signed Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka last month.

Both French and British tabloids are reporting that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is still very much interested in signing the energetic midfielder who is currently representing France at the European championships, and that the Gunners are in pole position to sign the Leicster city man.

Kante’s consistency, composure on and off the pictch, skilfulness, strength and aerial ability makes him a better player than Aaron Ramsey in that position, and you will be right if you call him an upgrade of Ramsey. Kantes above listed attributes makes him the right man to compliment the role of No 10 Roles of players like Mesut Ozil, Wilshere and Cazorla.

Arsene Wenger recently heaped praises on Ngolo Kante, saying he is a big admirer of the French international, a omment that has further fuelled the rumour.

Wenger was quoted by the Mirror saying:

“I admire and like N’Golo Kanté a lot. It gives you ideas. He gives you the feeling that the higher the level he plays at, the more at ease he is.

“We are talking about numbers. He has the most interceptions in Europe and by far.

“He has incredible quality. He feels the game, only very few people can do that. He’s always where he needs to be.

“It is very rare to have that in the central midfielder. Not always orthodox, but always in the right place.”

Wenger is wary of Kante getting a starting shirt at Arsenal, as the club currently have six central midfielders in Xhaka, Coquelin, Wilshere, Cazorla, Elneny and Wilshere all vying for two spots.

Spending another £20m on Kante might be unreasonable when none of the six central midfielders is leaving the club.
