Confirmed By ESPN – Lyon ACCEPTS £34m Arsenal Bid For Lacazette

According to a report by ESPN, Lyon has accepted a £34m bid from Arsenal and the player will have his medical this weekend. The Lyon striker has attracted interest from top clubs across Europe recently but the Arsenal boss is thought to be willing to pay the asked price secure the services of the 25 year old striker.

London club West Ham United were rumoured to have earlier made a number of unsuccessful bids for the French striker, who has also been linked with a move to Spanish champions Barcelona this summer. According to The Telegraph, Arsene Wenger is set to strike a deal and is ready to activate Lacazette’s release clause

The Arsenal boss has been covering the On-going Euro 2016 in his homeland as a TV pundit, capitalized on his country’s recent match against the Republic of Ireland in the City of Lyon as an opportunity to meet with Lacazette’s agent. Wenger is believed to be hell bent to sign a striker to bolster his forward-line this summer summer transfer window, having missed out on a deal for Jamie Vardy earlier in the summer.

Despite all the interest, Arsenal are yet to table any concrete offer for the Lyon striker, with the Arsenal boss said to be considering other options.
