Arsenal have reportedly launched a stunning bid worth £43m to sign German international Julian Draxler this summer, according to ESPN.
The Arsenal manger Arsene Wenger is thought to be hell bent to sign top strikers this summer and the German has once again been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal having been targeted by the North London club previously.
According to reports, Arsenal were close to agreeing a deal back in 2014 and were again thought to be keen on him last summer but the Emirate club missed out when he joined German side Wolfsburg in a £25.5m deal.
As it is, it seems the Arsenal manger has renewed his interest in the 22-year-old attacker. According to reports on ESPN [via the Sun].the Gunners has offered £43m for the Wolfsburg attacker.
It is still unknown whether Wolsfburg have responded to Arsenal’s supposed offer but you’d imagine it might be hard for the German side to let go of one of their most priced assets unless an irresistible offer is made by any suitor.
Wenger is a known admirer of Draxler’s who is capable of playing anywhere across the attacking positions.
