Arsene Wenger is always discrete about his dealings in the transfer market as he fancies the deal to pull through before it is made public.
According to report, Wenher has revealed that Arsenal are working with Scottish club Rangers on a loan deal for midfielder Jon Toral.
The Spaniard’s spent the first half of the season with Granada but he’s made just six appearances for the La Liga side.
Arsene Wenger is unsatisfied with the number of games the youngster has played, given the fact that he scored eight goals in 36 apperances for Birmingham last term.
The Gunners have sent the likes of Kyle Bartley and Gedion Zelalem to Rangers in the past and Wenger says the Gunners are in talks with the Scottish giants over a move for Toral…
‘We work on it to see if it is possible, yes,’ said Wenger.
Asked whether the move to Mark Warburton’s side would benefit Toral, Wenger replied: ‘Yes,because he has played games there [for Granada] but at the moment he doesn’t play and personally I think it would be a good transition for him.’
